Alpine

No, I haven't traveled to the Alps, where gentians like these are growing in the wild. 
 
I just had enough of sitting indoors all day. So I went for a very short walk between two showers, when I spotted these intensely blue flowers in a nearby garden. 

The weather continues to be cold and very changeable. It's nice outside in the sun, but we also had lots of rain today, and even a hail shower and thunderstorm. I am feeling sorry for M and friends, who are having their al fresco party, for having chosen this wet and cold weekend for it.
