Day 2 Camino. Road to Roncesvalles (18.2km)

Day two of our Camino took us from Orisson hostel in France to the monastery of Roncesvalles in Spain, about 20km in total. Sunny weather yet again which made the trek more tolerable. Uphill to begin with followed by a long saunter down to the village of Roncesvalles. The monastery here has been welcoming pilgrims for about 900 years so quite a pedigree. Accommodation is pretty good and we enjoyed a good evening meal.
