No. 22

A cold but bright morning so I continued mulching the back garden with six bags of well rotted farmyard manure.  I think the back is pretty well covered now so will start on the front garden next week.  The nursery gives a discount on six bags but I reckon I will probably need nearer twelve for the front.  It is certainly improving the fairly awful soil that we inherited from the builders when we bought the house.

I had a walk up on Kelling Heath this afternoon and was at the tiny Halt on the heath when No. 22 came up the hill from Weybourne towards Holt.  It was certainly working hard to pull its train up the hill.
