Sitting in the evening sun

We both woke at eight again and by 840 we were sitting at the allotment in the rain.with our breakfast 

When it stopped.pouring; we disembarked and headed to the plot.  Himself had planted the potatoes and fixed the fence earlier in the week.  


I weeded both onion beds, the garlic bed and the asparagus bed.  There were three sticks of asparagus all different thicknesses and heights.  I'm not even thinking about them I'm waiting for my asparagus to look like.proper asparagus

Si dug over another bed and planted the parsnips 

When we came home. We showered and then Si settled to watch the Footie.  I went to Savers for Wax strips.  What is going on there.  The price has increased about 50% since I last bought some. 

Some crazy market economics at work.  Maybe Tanya has the ear of wax strips makers and is trying to get me to pay for more pain 

I decided to sit by the beach tonight ..wow. It was a spectacular sunset 

Am a.bit miffed currently with the council.  Every road in to town is currently being resurfaced.  .. wow. I heard you say.  You are so lucky.  They aren't doing it for us.  They are doing It for the Open   the beach car park has been shut. The main road out of the town is being resurfaced and the diversion through the town and out our way.  The trail of traffic is ridiculous.  And when is the open????
