Let the sun illuminate the words
A day of several halves today.
I woke at 4.30 needing, desperately to go to the loo
I did and found myself wide awake, so I picked up my phone, always a bad idea, and completed Wordle, and Connections and then happily fell back asleep.
Only to be knocked awake at 8 on the dot, as I had an appointment.
Tanya, who burns my face for to achieve flawless, years younger skin, was today going to remove skin tags from my arms.
Oh yes, I am a slave to pain.
Tanya was very impressed at my arm flexibility. She is unable to raise her arms above her head, given that she spends hours at a time, hunched over people's private parts, with sharp / hot / jabby things... I was happily able to wrap my arm around the back of my head.
We had a discussion about Scouts and School Bullies, and I was out in 10 minutes and missing about 10 (you can count them in extras) tags.
I was so tired, I announced to Si I needed to go back to bed. So we went home, he made us breakfast, and I did indeed, head back to bed. He went up to the allotment found this dead rabbit in our plot.. He thinks it came through A tiny hole in the fence and just exhausted itself to death. He buried it somewhere nice, and planted the potatoes. Good job.
I slept. Then I rose, and we both sat outside in our beautiful new patio. I contemplated my plants and seedlings and tried to decide what to do about them, but I was too tired.
Si cut the grass and shuffled soil from the back round to the front to "smooth" the areas of the new patio laying It alllooks a bit immense.
I strimmed the front. That was the limit of my exertions I was so tired.
We went and got our shopping for the week and then came back to sit down again. We sat and enjoyed the sunshine... .and I repotted some of my very hopless seedlings.
Then we stiffly struggled back into the house.
I feel it will be an early night.
