Wild Garlic

Of course, it's proper name is Ransoms.  It was good to see some growing next to the footpath during my walk with A on Kelling Heath this morning.
I think the flowers are very attractive and stand out so beautifully against the broad dark green leaves.

Weybourne station was closed but we did see a diesel pulling carriages on the North Norfolk Railway.  I'm guessing that they weren't stopping at Weybourne, just Holt and Sheringham.  We walked back to Kelling Heath Halt and sat on the tiny platform for our coffee and were treated to a view of two beautiful deer grazing in the field below.  Too far away for a photo.
