Stunned robin

It was lovely weather yesterday, good enough to sit out, so today I spent several hours sorting the patio - cleaning the furniture, watering the pots (it's amazing how dry they had become in just a week without significant rain), and sweeping up the assorted plastic (broken bits from when they replaced the gutters), twigs, leaves and dust.  The patio is quite green - we may get the power washer on it at some stage.

Of course, having done that, the wind increased, and there was no way we were sitting out.

W, meanwhile, continued working hard to fill the raised beds.  As we were relaxing in the garden room after our hard work, a robin flew into the glass door, and sat for about 10 minutes just outside, collecting its wits!  This photo taken through glass suggests one of the next jobs should be some window washing!  And we should get some stickers to discourage bird strike.
