I left the car at home and headed out on the bus. Lots of sunshine today but a cold wind.

Thought I’d better have a wander up through White Moss wood to see how the bluebells were progressing. I was very surprised to see so many in flower from down by the river to up on the fell.

Instead of walking across the footbridge by the weir at Grasmere and heading back to where I started I decided to carry on into Grasmere village making a longer walk than I’d planned.
