I didn’t get much sleep and was up at 4.30. Plan A for the morning was amended. I loaded the bags of garden recycling into the car and left for Kendal at 6.30. Sainsbury’s first for fuel and groceries then Morrisons. I had plenty of time earlier to find out which store had the branded items I wanted at the cheapest price. Then to the other side of town to empty my garden sacks. I was home for 9 o’clock and will return to do the town centre jobs. I dozed on the sofa for a few hours.

I must improve my fitness so headed up Loughrigg in the afternoon. Just as far as the point where I took the photo and back which my phone recorded as 3.8 miles.
