The Open University
I graduated from the OU in 1984, it seems a long time ago.
Today we were invited to the Spring Alumni Event. It was very well organised and we were well looked after by the staff. Quite a good crowd of mature graduates.
We heard presentations from a successful author, an entertaining businessman and the pro Vice Chancellor on the outreach programme.
The campus is large and very well kept and the buildings modern and very smart.
An enjoyable and informative day.
The blips are the Church of St Michael, now the University Church and surrounded by the much newer buildings. The extra is an example of the current accommodation.
There are no undergraduates on site but there are students working on their PhDs.
