Village view

We decided to walk the Railway walk this morning, mainly to see how the reconstruction of a house is coming along. Answer: painfully slowly. Apparently they are going to fell all the trees around it. A poor decision in my view. 
I decided not to photo said house but thought this view just along the lane may be of interest.
In the distance is our village of Wark. The oil seed rape is taking its time. I thought the lambs and blue skies speak of Spring. The cold northerly wind is not apparent.
