Sad Day

We were at this local church earlier for the funeral of a long standing friend. Douglas was 89 years old but a shame he didn't quite make it to 90. I got to know Lorna through teaching many years ago and we became friends through the school and then Tring Choral Society. I wondered if there might be a few there from the Bearbrook days but, unfortunately, not.
John now busy with preparations for his walking weekend in Scotland starting his journey this afternoon to friends in Sheffield, and then heading north tomorrow.
