Lyth Hill Wander

Today I had an appointment at Shrewsbury Hospital.

Enough of that, on the way home I diverted to visit Lyth Hill, just off the A49 near Dorrington.  (Main and extra) 

A new one for me but generally a popular outing. On the summit is a very agreeable nature reserve, just perfect for a relaxing walk, both for human and four legged  friends. 

It offers stunning views across Shropshire, including the nearby Stretton Hills and Wellington Wrekin.

If you are coming to Shropshire at any time it is one I would recommend for a couple of blissful hours.

Bring a flask and enjoy the view.
