Organ recital

I was awake and up much too early, but reorganised the cupboard under the utility sink. I also ordered a new washing machine.

Before meeting the other Marjorie for lunch, I visited the tip, a charity shop and a filling station!

We had salads at Café Muro and then went to the Abbey for the recital. Our abbey has a magnificent Phelps’ organ. The organist from Beverley Minster made it sing. I particularly enjoyed his improvisation on his own theme, although it kept nearly ending, but didn’t!

I’ve made a flyer for the rest of the choir’s summer workshops.

Margaret (across the road) came this evening and we shared a bottle of Prosecco and did a lot of chatting!
