Following on from the strangely placed dustbin - right of centre in that shot - this is what I was protecting ......... a beautiful peony that came from my late Mum's garden back in 2015.
   
It lived in a pot for about three/four years then I transplanted it ..... not only does it have this amazing flower right now but there are also about six buds ready to burst.
I'm happy to say it is thriving - and definitely more beautiful on large..
