Kangaroo paw

In my view these flowers work better in macro than non. The macro view reveals their texture in bud, their form in flower and their colour if you're lucky. We don't have them in our garden or plan to.

Kangaroo paw species originate in south western Western Australia. A red and green variety is WA's floral emblem.
