Marilyn

Another bike and hike day - some off road up past Cougie to a surprisingly challenging 200m of wilderness ascent of a Marilyn. And more wintry showers. Walt emerged briefly in his waterproof bivi bag for a summit shot. I did find a sheltered picnic spot with view a little lower down. On the way back admired the Douglas firs and Plodda falls (see extra). Then hosed down the bike, showered myself and had chips and mushy peas for a Friday night treat in the cosy campsite cafe.
