Fourteen Years and Ever Onwards!

Fourteen years here on blip, posting something every day. Who’d have thought it? It’s such a lovely place to be and that’s all because of you all and the team who keep this site going. Thank you all!

This was another very good day. Bb had his third check up post operation and the doctors removed the head bandages. Everything is progressing really well and his next appointment is in two weeks. No bandages now! He can start to wash his hair with care and dry it with the cold function on a hair drier. We saw his scalp today for the first time since the operation. It’s a very impressive ‘repair job’ and once again we feel HUGE appreciation and gratefulness for the doctors and their team.

After the hospital visit, we walked our usual walk down and Undercovercairo joined us. We then decided on an impromptu stop at Fleming’s for a little celebration lunch. We’ve had our eye on this place for a wee while and today we passed it at the right time and managed to get a table. Wonderful food to share. We’ll be back!

A wee siesta at home and then we all walked into the centre and down Passeig de Gracia with a stop in the roof terrace of Alaire terrace bar for the shot of the three of us with La Pedrera in the background. Meandered back home and Bb and I stopped to share a pizza round the corner from home and Undercovercairo was happy to go back home, just two minutes away. I’m not surprised as I’ve clocked up 20,000 steps today!
