Snooze

I can’t remember when I last had such a lazy day! We woke early but snoozed for a while before going for breakfast, and took some time over it. Then headed to the library where we bedded ourselves down in comfy chairs and read, with the only thing missing being a roaring fire in the grate. After a couple of hours we went back to bed and had another snooze before getting up and going down for a drink and some olives. N arrived from work and joined us, then later he and T went to the driving range and A and I went to the steam room, before she had a facial and I had a body exfoliation and back massage. Excellent! That was followed by some time in the dark, warm relaxation room.
Once we were changed we walked over (only exercise of the day!) to see the activities on the driving range where they’d had fun and we even had a go ourselves (hopeless!) before back for cocktails before dinner. It was so nice to see some sunshine as it had started off very wet this morning.
Discussion topics as varied as usual… from memories of P to choosing our three favourite forms of potato (it’s very tricky to choose and sparks a lot of chat!)
All in bed by 10pm…..feel like I’ve hardly been out of it today!
