Exorcising Red (Day 3276)

Overnight rain had eased off by the time I took Sigyn for her morning wander. A bit later I zoomed home and spent an hour fiddling with our central heating. It seems I have exterminated the slow leak which I have been wanting to deal with for ages, but I discovered another couple of problems which need to be dealt with while the system is drained.
I headed off to fit an outside tap, arriving to find I had to wait for the customer to finish washing the dishes before I could get into the cupboard under the kitchen sink. Once the tap was fitted I went to town to collect some bits, then back to Mum's to get Sigyn out for another wander.
Next on the list was a ride out on Red, keeping him exercised for my beautiful wife . It only took five minutes to persuade him to cross the chasm of doom (a different surface at the gate out of the field) and past the demonic duvet cover flapping around on a washing line opposite the field. He settled down nicely having dealt with the demons and we had a really good ride out, despite the increasing wind. Rain arrived as I got on with chores in the field.
