Fish Out of Water

This street art is by David de Limón, my favourite Valencian street artist. I really like the street art in Valencia but hate the graffiti.
I woke up to the sound of heavy rain battering against the window pane this morning and momentarily thought I was back home in Peebles! It chucked it down all morning but to be honest I was glued to the radio. At one point it sounded as if the Scottish FM and the Spanish PM were both going to resign but in the end only Humza stood down. The right thing to do in my opinion, and without being overly party political, I think he did it graciously. Nice man but not great FM.
The rain finally stopped and I ventured out to do some food shopping (I just missed my cheese lady at the market) and then as advised by our letting agent, I took the Metro (long journey) to a store called Leroy Merlin to check out bathrooms (we’re looking at the option of upgrading ours). It was like B & Q but on steroids with hundreds of possible options. I ended up getting lost in the store and practically had a panic attack trying to get out!
Back to the flat to unwind and read my book. I had Camino envy today.
