No Luck with Puffins

A rainy morning, it cleared into a sunny day.  Clouded over this evening, rain again tonight.  Fairly windy all day, chilly in the wind.

Up early, headed to the airport for a late shift.  Mostly working with oil and gas flights today, with a spell in the check-in desk this evening.  All flights on time.  Walkies with Sammy, now feet up. 

Lunchtime arrived, I headed out for a walk in the sunshine.  I headed up to the lighthouse, hoping to see some puffins, no luck.  There was a few puffins flying out at sea, but sadly none on the cliff ledges.  It's still early in the season, they mainly feed at this time of year, rather than nesting.  I thought about heading up after work, but it dulled down and not great light.  A fine sunny view looking over the lighthouse and horn, Sumburgh Head.
