Happy Fourth of July, fellow Americans!
Rather than waiting to blip some "red, white, and blue" activity later today, I decided to post this action shot from my morning walk.
This poor cat was sunning itself on what I assume was its own front porch when two Magpies started harassing it. First the birds landed on the roof and heckled the cat from above, then they went to ground assault hopping closer and closer, and finally as the cat started to move away, this one Magpie went into aerial attack.
The cat got away unscathed and hopefully has found a more peaceful place to enjoy the day.
