Mono Tulips
A quiet day ‘recovering’ from a Lili-filled weekend - and I think the Thyroxine just might be starting to have an impact on my energy levels.
The weather’s miserable, with almost constant drizzle, but there are a few moments of sunshine allowing me to pop out into the garden to photograph some very drippy tulips. These apricot and cerise beauties are yet another variety in this year’s collection of reds and oranges - now starting to age gracefully from their previous goblet forms.
I really don’t intend to leave the house, but finding my repeat prescription has not been processed despite being handed in two weeks ago means a rather irritating trip to my local surgery…… why is everything so unnecessarily difficult?
Thanks so much for the love shown to little Lili yesterday. Today I’ve gone for a high contrast mono version of the tulips - thanks to JohnEdward for hosting throughout April. (Colour version in extras)
