Across the River……

The ponded area of the river has had its water cleaned by recent rains. Most of the benefit of those rains has disappeared straight down through the shingles to replenish the aquifer. Maisie raced around the edges of the pond, busy checking out interesting smells.
We’ve had a relatively mild day with warm sunshine. Heavy rain is predicted for the top of South Island tomorrow evening.
