The Well-used Bridge…..

It is not often I find a group of my dog-walking friends all using the Humpty Bridge at the same time. Four humans accompanied by six dogs. The dogs were all small terriers. I love meeting up with friends down at the river. My walks kick-start each day for me.
I had a real treat early this morning. A rare white heron was pottering in the shallows of the river just downstream from the Beaver Road footbridge.
Another busy day. I spent most of the morning raking fallen leaves and other debris. Working fast ahead of rain which started to fall in the early afternoon.
