Up close and personal

The crypt in Winchester Cathedral is now open for tours. No chance to just wander round (health&safety, no there is a surprise). So the opportunities for photography were somewhat limited by time (you must move on the next bit) and other people getting in the way.

The crypt has been flooded or too damp for the best part of a year. So the good news is this summer has been drier than last (so far).

I had wanted a portrait of Sound II but it is remarkably difficult with the way the light in reflected off the statue. Still I like this one.
