Snake in the strawberry patch

We stayed with Jane's sister and brother-in-law on Friday and Stuart found this grass snake. I wonder if he fancied some of the strawberries. Unfortunately he got himself caught in the netting covering the fruit. By the time he was found he had died.

Sara said we should take a photo before he was put in the neighbouring field so I got him posed.
