I left behind a very miserable grey, drizzly Bristol and headed for Bournemouth for a few days with Ma.

The forecast ended up actually being right, and we arrived to sunshine, which stayed all afternoon! I took this photo to send Matt and make him jealous (in case this was the only sun we got).

Lunch at Stable in town, then we walked down to the seafront and along to Boscombe, where we were staying. Popped to our Airbnb to get rid of some of our things, then had a lovely walk along the cliff tops, then the promenade as far as Southbourne. Dinner and cocktails in Pokesdown.
