Garden Day

After morning dog walk and a few chores we popped out to a nearby nursery to check out their range of plants.
Apparently they’ve only been opened since middle of last year, so are still getting going with stock etc this year. It also had a coffee shop, which again was a limited range and quite small. However we both enjoyed a toasted sandwich and a coffee.
We didn’t buy anything, although had the antique French bird cage been for sale I might have been tempted, alas it was for display only.
We ended up back at Longbeck and got a few shrubs and a few more alpines. Once home we set about planting and are very pleased with the progress.
It’s been glorious weather today and with rain on the cards tomorrow we wanted to get outside stuff done.
