Tiny Tuesday...
...or Desperate Dan?
Smeaton Nurseries have the most interesting plants. We met this Calceolaria Calynopsis yellow with red on our way in and I couldn't resist a few snaps.
During our coffee at the outside tables we were visited this time, not by a pheasant but by a bold great tit (collage in extra) although there was a robin hovering close by, just too shy to come to the table.
After our refreshment we drove down to Tyninghame to walk to the beach via the concrete tank traps, along the beach to the east then up to St Baldred's Cradle then back through the trees to the track that comes from Tyne Sands. We had stood watching gannets, a pair of bullfinches, a pair of yellowhammers and heard so many more, identified on BirdNET and Merlin.
It was around 4pm when we arrived home for a rather late lunch.
