Rescue snail

I spotted this little critter half way across a gravel path in Holland Park. It was nearly a crunchy moment!

I picked it up and popped it on a leaf much to the delight of the young Japanese girl watching me. "Cuuuuute!" she cooed.

The gardeners were not so impressed, watching impatiently as I photographed it. I told them "It's the deal, it has to pose in return for being rescued". Squirrel extra.
