Bluebells
We went out for a pub lunch today and our route home took us over Ranmore on the North Downs. Everywhere we went the bluebells are still looking so good, even after several weeks in flower. At this spot they were accompanied by white Star of Bethlehem , and overhead were the fresh green leaves of the beech trees. It was a magical sight. I know it happens every year, but somehow the spectacle seems even better this year.
Nearer home the horses were grazing in the buttercup meadow . (Extra)
