Grey & Green

Not much sleep was had last night as we had some rather epic storms here in the south east! A very pretty light show was put on by nature, and the thunder seemed to rumble all night!

But I did manage to get out this  morning - first on the list was to vote in the local elections.  I was the only one at my local polling station and was disappointed not to have the 'none of the above' options to vote for!  And then I had a wander at the creek where all was looking rather lush and frothy!! Was lovely to be serenaded by the nightingale as well - along with robins, whitethroats, chiffchaffs and goldfinches! the cormorant and curlew were enjoying the muddy creek too!

Potted on some new plug plants this afternoon, and foxy came to watch! Now to wait for the Sainsbury delivery!
