A rainy start, less nonsense at the day job, lunch at a lovely wee spot, more email trouble and a great client. She's had a rough go of it lately so we came up with this mantra for her:

Be Amazing. Take No Sh*t.

Wise words, I'm sure you'll agree.

This morning, before the day properly began, I was thinking that it would be nice to not have to go to work. Nice not to have clients. Nice not to work, full-stop. Then I thought this wouldn't be good for ever but for a wee while. It took what felt like ages for my brain to figure out what I wanted was a vacation. A holiday. Annual leave. Yep, one is overdue.
