Wednesday: Moustache

This morning, we had a visit by six soldiers from the British Army base here who were coming to look at our Clubhouse as it’s their backup location during hurricanes.  Normally, I’d leave them to it with the Estates Team but today I popped over to say hello as one of them, Captain Hughes, is the godson of a friend of mine. It’s always nice to be reminded how small the world can be.

K and I stopped off at our new bar for a drink this evening before we headed home as S and her mum, N, were coming over.  They were also joined by Sophie, who is currently volunteering at the bird sanctuary N runs.  Sophie is from Montreal and specializes in exotic animals.  She spends her holidays here, helping out which is pretty admirable.
