Kennacraig Ferry Terminal
Nice lie in this morning till 8am before starting to get ready for the trip to Islay. Notice last night that we had a knick in the sidewall of the rear tyre and with the car being loaded up thought it best to get it changed before we went. Not too bad for low profile ones. This is our first on the new car and I managed 7 months before needing it.
With the car loaded and Steve crammed into the back we headed over to the ferry terminal at Kennacraig. We were in plenty of time for the ferry so I took the opportunity for a few photos. This was the best of them. The tide was coming in so by the time I managed to get setup, so the rocks were underwater .as a result instead of a nice water shot around them the foreground looks a bit out of focus, still I quite liked the mussel shells in the water.
Had an uneventful trip to the cottage and once we had found the right one were pleasantly pleased to find a great view over the bay towards Lagavulin distillery.
Tea was pizza with beer, a dram and some cheese. Nice to be away for a few days.
