Sassanach..

..English Stonecrop, sedum anglicum I think. It grows on bare rock on the hill, and is currently approaching full flower. A dainty little flower, hiding all the succulent leaves when in this state. The rocks are white with it.

A bit of an emergency blip as I've been weeding for most of the day. Hoed all the broad beans, and peas, French beans, and beetroot. Then spent some time hand weeding close to the beetroot, bits I couldn't get too close to with the hoe. A lot easier that doing the parsnips. G's been pulling the "larger" weeds from the brasicas, these will need a good hoeing, and I still need to do the carrots and potatoes.

Ordered the wood for the "Hay lofts" in the shed, 6" x 2" x 4.8 m (funny how I'm happy mixing imperial and metric here) for the joists, and boards for the floors.. Being delivered tomorrow..

Salad for tea again, with ham and cold scrambled eggs..

music, I asked Bryan Burnett to play this tonight on his "Get it on" show, he read the request out but didn't play it, so you can all enjoy it here on Independance day..
