..and they'll be fully out" my mum said when we drove past here a few years ago, and I don't think they've ever been "fully out", but it's become a standard phrase each time we go by..

Very wet this morning, but clearing up soon after noon, and now looking quite bright. The view to the islands (Lewis and Harris) was the clearest I've seen when we came back from delivering the vegetables. The sea was shimmering silver, the island stood out well on the horizon along with a couple of large tankers..

Egg run tonight, and a few pints no doubt. I like Fridays..
