Ewenicorns
Bloody windy it was out there today, after it being bloody wet to start with.
Headed out with good intentions to get some grocery shopping done on the bike. Cycled to the shop then realised I'd came away without any keys for the locks. Luckily, it was near Heather's knocking off time and, as she works nearby, I hung around the Cooncil offices waiting for her. She gamely volunteered to go and buy the mince and other sundries (mud for the Mississippi Pie) for us to make some posh burgers to celebrate Independence Day. She even more gamely volunteered to cook them up too, and most excellent they were.
The fourth of July around here though signals the start of the unicorn clipping season, with this pair having just had their long horns shorn by the looks of things. Possibly.
