a time to mourn and a time to dance
I went to Zumba this morning for the first time in months. The foot coped well, the music was wonderful and it brought back some happy memories. I went swimming afterwards as well, and decided to cancel the operation and see what happens.
In the afternoon, Youngest Son and I went to see 'King Lear' by the Globe Theatre Company. There is some irony in a play about madness being performed in the grounds of a former psychiatric hospital (the Crichton Royal). The acting was superb, the tragedy infused with a tiny hint of humour here and there (as when one of Gloucester's eyes was thrown into the audience). So it is in life.
Photography was forbidden during the play, but once the last line had been spoken and the actors had all come back to life to dance a little jig, I thought I would risk a blip.
