lunch at the V&A

Day 2 in London. Much awaited visit to the David Bowie exhibition - and it didn't disappoint. There can't be many singer/songwriters out there who can boast a retrospective on this scale in their own lifetime. It was a visual and auditory delight, and deservedly the most popular exhibition the V&A have put on EVER.

We actually had lunch in one of the exquisitely decorated rooms that make up the V&A cafe, but I couldn't get a photo that even begun to do it justice. The gardens were lovely too. For some reason this shot puts me in mind from a scene from A Room with a View.
