Kirkleatham tulips
We had a little trip out today, to Eston and to Redcar, to find specific places where we have appointments on Thursday and one the following week, to make sure we know where we are going. No problem at all, easy to find.
On the way, we called in to Kirkleatham for a bite to eat and walk around the walled garden before the tulips are finished, but we needn’t have worried as they are still looking really good. See extra for a couple of different views.
The garden is slowly coming to life, compared to when we first visited in February - See here
Called into the chemist on the way back to collect my prescription. Also asked the pharmacist if she had anything for my eyes as I’ve had one or two wiggly floaters in one eye the last day or so. She suggested getting advice from an optician, so I called round to one in town, registered with them and booked an appointment for next week. The optician was very reassuring and said what to look out for (!) in case they get worse.
