The Nine

Today has been a big day! I had a productive day at work and was able to finish slightly earlier.

My contact, who works for the Nikon agent, messaged to tell me there was a fantastic promotion on the Z5 camera. I've only been waiting six weeks for this. G gave me money for a new camera on my birthday. I didn't think we'd get to the store today, but as it turns out, we did, and I am now the proud owner of my first-ever full-frame camera!

I unpacked it before leaving the shop so I could get pictures while I was still in the mall, but the battery needed to be charged first. *Sigh*. We had a celebratory meal at a new place for us. The Nine is a British Gastropub at the Sofitel in Wafi. It was great to finally check it out. The food and service were good, and because they had run out of apple pie, they let us have an alternative dessert for free! We chose the Sticky Toffee Pudding!

We got home, and I plugged in the battery, hoping it would be usable before I went to bed, but it didn't happen. I caught up with some back-blips here.
