Day 17 Hornillos del Camino to Castrojeriz (20km)

Today we had a relatively comfortable trek. We were expecting to reach the plains but the landscape is not what I was expecting. We went through valleys and besides lots of wheat fields. The earth has changed noticeably from a reddish clay like soil to a sandy stony surface. We are staying in a beautiful town and our accommodation is nice and modern.
