Day 16 Camino Burgos to Hornillos del Camino

Sadly no rest day today as we couldn’t find accommodation. We have both been spooked by stories of pilgrims struggling to find accommodation. Although you can bypass this by staying at a public or municipal hostel, you are not allowed to book a bed at these hostels. It then becomes a race for beds which in turn means an early start and much unwanted stress worrying whether you will arrive in time (first come first served).
In light of this, we have now decided to change our strategy and book ahead 4-6 days.
Todays blip is a view from a window of our hostel where we will be sharing dorms with about 30 other pilgrims.
