I Shall Say Zis Only Once.....

It's the Classic Sitcom weekend on the railway this weekend, based at Weybourne. As well as the 'Dad's Army Platoon', there were enjoyable skits inspired by Allo Allo and Hi-de-Hi, all three sitcoms had an episode where filming took place at Weybourne station. There was music too, but I missed that. I took the steam train (Hercules) to Weybourne, watched Allo Allo and had a look round and an ice cream. Then I took another steam train to Sheringham and returned straight away to Weybourne (engine 53809, which was wheezing a bit and was being look at anxiously by the drivers at Weybourne). I watched the Hi-de-Hi sketch which included a 'gorilla' and a knobbly knees competition and had another look round. Then I returned on the Victorian Train (pulled by Wissington), I stood outside on the open bit at the end of one of the carriages. I've also added a collage as an Extra. This afternoon I washed my car. I also edited my photos whilst keeping an eye on the goings on in my camera nest box - two hatchlings have arrived and the male has showed up to bring some tiny bugs for them.
