Ride Sleep Ride Work Repeat

Riding home the longer way takes a route over Werneth Low just before home but there was a Road Closed sign at the entrance to Cowlishaw Rd so I carried on to Romiley and back towards Hyde that way. With no sign at the foot of Werneth Low Rd, the narrow lane was bimbled up for a pic looking south over Marple.

Reaching the triangle where it meets the top of Cowlishaw Rd there was more signage and and explanation for the road closure...a Cycle Race! The Hare & Hounds carpark was signed as feed station so it would have been nice to stay & watch. Bed beckoned though.

And that was/is Sunday. Have ridden back into work on Biscuit and am looking forward to another bimble. Head is quite frazzled but what to do.
