Treasure hunting

We have a lot of May birthdays in our family.  Today we celebrated Lex, whose birthday was yesterday, and Diane, whose will be on Tuesday.  Next Sunday we will be celebrating my birthday (Thursday) and Sarah's (the following Monday) as well as Mothers Day.

It was cold and wet outside, but Max insisted on having an outdoor treasure hunt, rather than doing it indoors.  So Lex went out and placed little items around the back garden for them to find.  As you can see in this photo, they didn't hide their eyes but watched her distributing the "treasures."  Then they went out to pick them up.

Levi, Sarah and Nick are out of town today, but that didn't stop the boys from taking every toy out of the cabinet (Extra.)  Dinner was lasagna brought by Diane and a luscious birthday cake made by the twins and Manda.  It was so good!

I have a day off tomorrow before I have to return to dialysis.  What will I do with the free time?
