Sorting books … for the last time

After breakfast we loaded up the car and went to the Waitaki Resource Recovery Park  to drop off our recycling.  After that we walked down to the Bookarama site to sort yet more books.  There are lots of books arriving every day that need to be sorted before opening day on Friday.  I’m not going to go to sort tomorrow, although MrM will.  I’ll go to Pilates then come home and get some household chores and computer admin done and try to keep on top of the tiredness.

After we arrived home we had cheese, crackers and apples for lunch and did Wordle and Quordle.  I made some yoghurt and MrM put back the door handles that have been sprayed.  They do look a whole lot better.

We had a quick early supper of leftovers plus fried eggs then drove to the monthly Garden Club meeting.  It was an interesting meeting and the talk about the Kurow Wetlands was very good - just shows what a group of dedicated volunteers can achieve with a lot of hard work and occasional help from others.

I took a photo this afternoon of a tree in our garden showing off its autumn colours in the sunshine.  I think it’s a type of dogwood.
